Valued at $1 billion, the M1 Daisy Hill to Logan Motorway Upgrade forms Stage 3 of the M1 North upgrade program. The project will widen 10 kilometres of the motorway, implement smart motorway technologies, extend the South East Busway, deliver new bus stations and park ‘n’ ride facilities, extend the Veloway (V1), and upgrade key interchanges—enhancing safety, capacity, and connectivity between Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
Members of the BIM one team were engaged during the Preliminary Evaluation and Business Case phases to undertake the utilities design assessment. This early-stage involvement supported the identification of key utility constraints, risks, and cost considerations—informing scope development and enabling a robust, coordinated foundation for future project delivery.
