The Townsville Ring Road Stage 5 project delivered a 6-kilometre extension connecting Beck Drive to the Bruce Highway, including new bridges, grade-separated interchanges, and dual carriageways to enhance safety and network capacity.
Engaged by Georgiou Group, BIM one delivered specialist as-constructed modelling and data management services. In collaboration with Georgiou and TMR's BIM Implementation Team, we developed a data-rich digital as-constructed model integrating non-graphical asset information to support efficient handover and long-term asset management.
Michael implemented an enhanced validation workflow using as-constructed survey data to efficiently identify and update modified bridge elements. Lot conformance data was embedded into the model prior to issuing the federated Navisworks deliverable. This process has since been further enhanced through automation, improving efficiency, accuracy, and scalability for future projects.
