We know what project managers need, so can focus on real-life applications of BIM rather than taking a philosophical high-level approach.
We are working with our clients to develop BIM construction specifications, manage design and as-constructed models, and apply "RetroBIM" processes to retrospectively create Asset Information Models (AIMs) for old assets.
The Coomera Connector Central project scope involves multiple grade-separated interchanges, new bridge structures, and dedicated active transport infrastructure such as walking and cycling paths, with completion targeted for 2027.BIM one contributed to the project from the tender phase, working closely with key discipline leads within the Design Joint Venture to develop innovative geometric solutions that minimised � and in several instances eliminated � impacts to critical APA Gas and Telstra infrastructure. These early optimisations reduced delivery risk, avoided costly service relocations, and strengthened the overall value proposition of the submission.
The Burleigh to Palm Beach (B2PB) project widened a 5-kilometre section of the M1 from four to six lanes between Burleigh and Palm Beach, delivering nine bridges, interchange upgrades, smart motorway technology, and improved active transport links.
BIM one was engaged to deliver the as-constructed bridge modelling scope as a construction completion requirement. As asset data volumes exceeded 10,000 discrete attributes, Michael led the development of an automated data integration workflow to replace manual processes - significantly improving efficiency, accuracy, and model consistency.
The Townsville Ring Road Stage 5 project delivered a 6-kilometre extension connecting Beck Drive to the Bruce Highway, including new bridges, grade-separated interchanges, and dual carriageways to enhance safety and network capacity.
Engaged by Georgiou Group, BIM one delivered specialist as-constructed modelling and data management services. In collaboration with Georgiou and TMR's BIM Implementation Team, we developed a data-rich digital as-constructed model integrating non-graphical asset information to support efficient handover and long-term asset management.
